Responsibilities:
- Developing Hotel Sales Strategies: Create and implement effective sales strategies specific to the hotel industry, considering factors like seasonal demand, local events, and customer preferences.
- Group Sales Management: Oversee the group sales team, which focuses on booking large events, conferences, and group accommodations.
- Corporate Account Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners for recurring business.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms and conditions are mutually beneficial and align with hotel policies.
- Revenue Management: Monitor room rates, occupancy levels, and revenue per available room (RevPAR) to optimize pricing strategies.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion into new markets.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, front office, events) to ensure seamless guest experiences and to promote additional revenue streams (e.g.restaurants).
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on sales performance, including metrics like occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue by segment.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field (MBA in Hospitality is a plus).
2. Proven track record of successful sales management in the hotel industry with demonstrable revenue growth.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. In-depth knowledge of hotel revenue management and sales techniques.
5. Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
