We expanded our service offerings to cover a broader range of recruitment solutions. This could include executive search, temporary staffing, and specialized industry-specific recruitment.

Identify and target niche markets where there is high demand for specialized talent. Becoming experts in specific industries or roles can make your firm more attractive to clients seeking specialized recruitment services

3. Build Strong Client Relationships:

Strengthen relationships with existing clients and seek referrals. A satisfied client is more likely to provide repeat business and recommend your services to others. I am a true believer of this as more than 80% of our clients are a repeat clients!

4. Invest in Technology:

Leverage technology to streamline your processes. Applicant tracking systems, AI-driven tools, and data analytics can enhance your efficiency and effectiveness in matching candidates with clients. We had this ATS for the 1st 2 years but it was a wrong move as its take a lot of investment with less ROI as it wasn’t friendly enough so, build your own would be good over time, you can also buy off the rack if you want!

5. Digital Marketing and Branding:

Invest in digital marketing to increase our online visibility. Develop a strong online presence through social media, a well-designed website, and content marketing to attract clients and candidates. 6. Networking and Partnerships:

Build strong relationships within our industry. Attend relevant conferences, join professional associations, and collaborate with other businesses in related fields. Networking can lead to valuable partnerships and new business opportunities. In our case we build more partnership, locally and internationally.

7. Employee Training and Development:

Invest in continuous training for our recruiter and consultants. Ensure they stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and relevant technologies. Well-trained consultants can provide a higher level of service and attract more clients. I believe that if we take better care of them, they will take care of our clients better!

8. Expand Geographical Reach:

Consider expanding our geographical reach to target clients in new locations. This could involve opening satellite offices or leveraging technology to serve clients in different regions. We establish partner is special region in SEA, Europe and Middle East!

9. Client Retention Programs:

Implement client retention programs to ensure long-term relationships. Regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and personalized services can help build loyalty. Even if they may not buy from you now, trust me they will come back and buy from you later on especially if you have heavily invested in them, the ROI is just round the corner!

Check their financials or check the background of the candidates. Do we have enough candidates in the industry to support our clients project? Ask and check the data? Lesson learnt 2023.

Focus on enhancing the candidate experience. A positive candidate experience not only attracts more talent but also encourages repeat business from clients impressed with the quality of candidates you provide. This is how we get referral candidates!

13. Strategic Alliances:

Explore strategic alliances with complementary businesses. This could involve partnerships with training providers, HR consulting firms, or other businesses that can enhance your overall service offering. Like how we grow with IRSHAD and now we have a few more alliances such as START IIX locally and internationally.

14. Client Education:

Educate clients on the value of our services and how strategic recruitment can positively impact their business. We position our firm as a trusted advisor in talent acquisition. Surprisingly, this was my clients’s idea, when she refer me to her clients. Having 1 satisfied promoter is like getting 1000 likes that translate to RM500K business. Truly amazing!

15. Metrics and KPIs:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor them. This will help you track progress, identify areas of improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly. Helps them to be performance driven and stay on top of the game. Recognitions is parts and parcel of the game!
However, we have to remember that sustainable growth often comes from a combination of smart business strategies, exceptional service delivery, and adaptability to market trends.
